My personal motto regarding this issue is "vote pro-choice live pro-life". A divisive issue to those that would choose to impose their will on everyone. That is my main complaint about the so called "pro-life" movement they will never allow that there are other opinions. They are chosen by God in their minds that they are saving the lives of innocents. Though rarely do any of them acknowledge that those poor beings being born into poverty or violence are at risk just being born! Save the unborn but let them survive on their own once they reach the real world! Disingenuous to say the least! Hello again Jazz! ;-)

Are you pro-life?
- Thursday, 09 October 2008
To be truly pro-life, one must be opposed to all killing, of any nationality, for any reason. This of course means supporting wars is out of the question, since it is somewhat difficult to have a war where there is no killing. As of August there were 1,033,000 deaths directly caused by the war in Iraq. That’s a lot of people whose hopes and dreams have come to an abrupt end unnecessarily. Those who say they are pro-life, but think the above number is alright are hypocrites, nothing more.
Now I realize this will lead to direct attacks on my character, my life, and my website, so I’ll tell you enough about me that you won’t have to make things up. I am pro-choice, I do not support the war in Iraq, but I believe the lives of everyone fighting on both sides should be preserved, I do not personally like abortion, nor do I think that it’s right, but I am opposed to making abortion illegal. I feel that no one has the right to impose their religious views on another person. I do not expect the false pro-life people to see that I’m correct in my assessment, and I do expect attacks on the matter. However, truly being pro-life is an honorable standpoint, and I am saddened to see the term “pro-life” stolen for such a dishonorable attempt to force religious views on other people.
