Juggernaut Interview
- Monday, 30 January 2012
What inspired you make this game?
I wanted to create a cool, epic browser-based game, made to the highest standards. Not just a game, but a revolution, combining our company’s rich experience with the latest technology. I think that it turned out pretty well. =)
While developing the game, what was the hardest issue(s) that you came across?
Combining flash and Unity in a single application, while at the same time ensuring the stability and viability of the construction.
What was your "best moment" during development?
When I realized that the players found the game interesting, and that this titanic effort hadn’t been in vain.
Were you able to incorporate all of the ideas that were proposed?
We have incorporated most of the ideas, but there are still some very important tasks that we have yet to implement because of their difficulty. For example, there is an idea to introduce combat mounts, which will take combat to a whole new level, just think – by mounting a dragon you could soar into the skies and attack an enemy from there.
Are there any plans to bring Juggernaut to PSN or Live?
No, we have absolutely no such plans.
Can you provide any insight into your next title?
Sure, why not. Right now we are preparing the release of a game for iOS, created based on Juggernaut. Here is a teaser site for the game. http://juggermobile.com We are positioning the game as a hurricane action RPG, so if you are a fan of quality action games, you should definitely check it out. Especially as it will be an f2p game.
Any special advice for the fans playing Juggernaut. Something like a special gameplay tactic or a hidden gem?
Develop your eloquence skills, this will be a great help in quests and will often help save you money.
How do you like the PC as a platform for game development?
The PC has been a platform for MMORPG’s for a long time. So, if you are making online games, it is an entirely suitable platform.
Any advice for people starting out with game development? It does not matter what platform they are using.
Play what you produce. =)
