For all those wondering why there is no x-play review of Uncharted 2 on Metacritic, I now have the answer you’ve been searching for.
Yesterday, I sent Metacritic this message:
"I was wondering where the X-PLAY from G4TV review is for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves they gave it a 5/5, but I don’t see it on the list?”
Their response was this:
” Stopped working with them in March - mutually agreed.”
So, the question I have is this: what’s going on behind the scenes that would make a huge game site and a huge video game show quit working together?
When pressed on the issue G4TV responded by saying.
"We couldn’t come to an agreement on how they should convert our 5-star system into their 100-point system... They wanted to make it a straight mathematical conversion – but that doesn’t take into account what we actually intended by our review system. So we choose to go separate ways, just like in the Journey song."
