Valve to release Alien Swarm & source code FREE!

Half-Life dev set to release a remake of Unreal Tournament mod Alien Storm (a co-operative shooter with a top-down view).

The source code will also be available as a seperate entity, thus it does not require the purchase of any Source-powered game which includes new additions to Valve's SDK.

Highlights of the Alien Swarm mod includes:

- Steamworks integration
- Depth of field
- Enhanced dynamic shadows
- Support for 3rd person camera

The title will be available to download today!
